In-home care for the people under your guardianship.
As a guardian or conservator, you answer to the court for someone whose needs are rarely simple — and continuity matters here more than almost anywhere. Hallmark Homecare is a referral agency: we present experienced caregivers, you engage the one you choose on your ward’s behalf, and the same caregiver can stay with them month after month. Tell us what the situation calls for — dementia, behavioral needs, medication reminders, overnight or around-the-clock coverage — and we present candidates equal to it.
“She was able to stay in her assisted living apartment until she passed… He is a great communicator with timely responses. I highly recommend Shane Sparks, Hallmark Homecare.”
Continuity, and caregivers equal to the need.
Continuity for a vulnerable ward
The same experienced caregiver, returning. Because you engage the caregiver directly, and a caregiver who is chosen and paid properly is far more likely to stay, your ward is not meeting a new face every week — and a caregiver who knows your ward becomes your eyes and ears between your visits, quick to notice a change and tell you.
Equal to complex needs
The caregivers we refer work to their own level of competency — dementia and behavioral support, medication reminders, help after a hospital stay — often alongside your ward’s nurse or care manager. Tell us what the plan of care calls for and we present candidates qualified for it. When it calls for a licensed nurse, we can present one.
When care cannot wait
A real person answers days, nights and weekends. When a ward is discharged or in crisis, guardians reaching us have had an experienced caregiver in place the same day.
Hallmark facilitates. You decide, on your ward’s behalf.
Hallmark
We answer the phone — a real person, days, nights and weekends — recruit and screen experienced caregivers, present candidates whose experience and availability fit what you tell us, and help coordinate getting started, weekly billing and year-end tax forms.
You, as guardian or conservator
You interview and choose the caregiver and engage them on your ward’s behalf, under your letters of appointment. You set the schedule and direct the day-to-day care, with your ward’s nurse or care manager. The caregiver works for your ward, not us — and you decide whether to continue, at any time. We do not assess your ward or write a plan of care.
Care within the ward’s funds, and a paper trail for the court.
You approve the rate
Care is arranged within your ward’s funds and any budget the court has set. You approve the caregiver’s rate, and the caregiver is paid from your ward’s funds through a secure third-party billing platform — never from Hallmark’s funds.
An itemized record, every week
Each week you receive an itemized billing statement of the hours worked and the amounts paid — the record you need for your accountings — and year-end tax forms are issued for the caregiver.

Answered plainly.
Who signs the service agreement for a ward?
Whoever holds authority to engage services for the person in your care — you, in your capacity as guardian or conservator, under your letters of appointment. Tell us who that is and we will send the client agreement.
What documentation will I have for accountings?
An agreed rate, weekly billing statements through the secure third-party billing platform, and year-end tax forms issued for the caregiver. Nothing is paid from Hallmark’s funds — the platform pays the caregiver from your ward’s payment.
Can a caregiver support dementia, behavioral needs, or medication reminders?
Often, yes. The caregivers we refer work to their own level of competency — many are experienced with dementia and behavioral needs, medication reminders and everyday health tasks, frequently alongside your ward’s nurse or care manager. Tell us what the plan of care calls for and we present candidates qualified for it; when it calls for a licensed nurse, we can present one.
How quickly can you place a caregiver?
Often the same day. A real person answers days, nights and weekends, and guardians reaching us after a hospital discharge or a crisis have had an experienced caregiver in place the same day. Call and tell us what is happening.
Do you pay or accept referral fees?
No, in either direction. There is nothing between Hallmark and any guardian, attorney or care manager that would need explaining to a court.
Can long-term care insurance help pay for a ward’s care?
Often, yes. Many long-term care policies reimburse care from a caregiver you engage through Hallmark. We take care of the provider side — the provider forms your carrier asks us for, and the paid invoices you submit; understanding your own policy and working with your carrier stay with you. Call us to get started.
