The clinical care
Your hospice provides the nurse, the plan of care, the medications and the equipment, and directs the medical side. Your family and the hospice team make the decisions and own the plan of care — we do not assess your loved one or write it.
The steady presence
We recruit and screen experienced caregivers, present those whose experience and availability fit, and help coordinate getting started, scheduling, weekly billing and tax forms. You choose the caregivers; they work for you, alongside your hospice team — for as many hours, overnights, or around-the-clock coverage as your family wants.

Does a private caregiver replace hospice?
No — a private caregiver works alongside your hospice team. Hospice provides the nurse, the plan of care, medications and equipment, usually with visits through the week. The caregiver you engage is the steady, hands-on presence in between — hours, overnights, or around the clock — so your loved one is comfortable and never alone.
Can a caregiver help with medications?
Often, yes. Caregivers work to their own level of competency, and when comfort care calls for more than reminders — medication administration, for instance — we can present a caregiver qualified for it, up to and including a licensed nurse. What a caregiver takes on follows their competency and your agreement, alongside the hospice nurse who directs the medication plan.
