Shane Sparks
Shane founded Good Faith Caregiving, LLC — Hallmark Homecare Louisville — in 2024 and named it for his mother, Wendy, whose middle name was Faith. When families call, it is often Shane who answers.
Before Hallmark, he spent six years as Chief Financial Officer of ModusOne Health. Earlier he worked in the settlement department at Churchill Downs and, for five years, at KCC Manufacturing, an employee-owned company in Louisville. He began his working life as an elementary school teacher — where he first learned the joy of serving and uplifting others. Shane is a licensed CPA.
He serves as treasurer of the national board of the Keep A Breast Foundation and as treasurer of Beyond60 Solutions, a Kentuckiana nonprofit that connects adults over 60 with transportation and services.
Tammy Kaninberg
Tammy Kaninberg is the Family Care Solutions Specialist at Hallmark Homecare Louisville, and for many families she is the steady voice on the other end of the phone in one of the hardest moments they will face. With more than thirty years in the senior and healthcare industry, she guides families through the complexities of care decisions with empathy and expertise.
The heart of Tammy's role is being a resource and guide — meeting families where they are, at home, in a hospital, or in a community, and helping them understand the options in front of them. She holds degrees in Communication and Business and is a certified Dementia Practitioner, which deepens her understanding of the unique needs of each family. Her greatest fulfillment comes from helping families find answers quickly and setting them up for success.
Outside of work, Tammy's greatest joy has been raising three wonderful children into adulthood with her loving husband, Jack. She cherishes time outdoors, moments with family and friends, and the joyful company of the family's two dogs, Molly and Lola.
Kelly Jahn
Kelly Jahn is the caregiver recruiter at Hallmark Homecare Louisville, and for many of the caregivers we refer, she is the very first person they meet. She has spent more than twenty-five years caring for seniors and for individuals with special abilities, and she brings an enormous heart to everything she does.
Before moving from Florida to Kentucky, Kelly spent eight years with a Southwest Florida in-home care agency, where she began as an office assistant and rose to executive director. She coordinated the schedules for the entire agency as it grew from thirty caregivers to one hundred — and when no one else was available to cover a shift, she would go and care for the client herself, at times looking after two or three of her own clients while she arranged care for everyone else's.
What Kelly loves most about recruiting is the people. She has a gift for meeting a caregiver and recognizing, almost at once, the same compassion she has carried her whole life — the wonderful people who have devoted themselves to caring for others. Scheduling, hands-on caregiving, recruiting: Kelly has done every part of this work, and done it beautifully.
Family is the center of Kelly's world. She is the proud mother of three, a devoted animal lover, and completely smitten with her grandson, Kaden, the true love of her life. She is the first face so many caregivers meet when they join Hallmark, and from the very first hello she makes them feel they have found a place that will treasure them.
